Adobe Express Creative Campus A-List Competition Terms and Conditions

The competition is being run by Seed Marketing Limited, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 07322835 having its place of business at 27 Paul Street, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 4JU (“Seed”) with the full authority of Adobe Systems Europe Limited (“Adobe”) registered in England & Wales under company number SC101089 having its place of business at C/O Eq Accountants Llp, 14 City Quay, Dundee, United Kingdom, DD1 3JA (“The Client”).

Eligibility
The ‘Adobe Express Creative Campus A-list Competition’ (the “Promotion”) is open to all students (a “Participant/s”) currently studying at a Creative Campus Higher Education Institution in the UK (Institutions listed below).

Ineligible Participants
No one who is an employee or independent contractor, officer, or director of Adobe, or any of Adobe’s agents, Adobe’s Interns, representatives, advertising, promotion, publicity and fulfilment agencies, legal advisors, successors and assigns, and any other company or person that is involved with the production, design, execution, administration or distribution of this Promotion, is eligible to enter or win, nor is anyone who lives with (whether or not related), or who is an immediate family member of, any one of the Released Parties (i.e., parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside).

Participation Requirements
No purchase is necessary in order to enter the competition. There is no fee charged to enter into this competition providing that each Participant meets the following requirements:

    • Is a resident of the United Kingdom; 

    • Is aged 18 years or older; and 
    • Is enrolled at an official Creative Campus UK Higher Education Institution (listed below) 
    • Has an ac.uk email address associated to the corresponding Creative Campuses (listed below)  
    • Has downloaded the Adobe Express App on their mobile phone  
    • Logs into the Adobe Express App using their university ac.uk email address  
    • Has access to a mobile phone 
    • Has access to the internet  
    • Need to have push notifications enabled for their Adobe Express mobile app

Participation in the Promotion is subject to and implies acceptance of these terms and conditions. Adobe reserves the right to refuse participation in the Promotion to a Participant that has not complied with these terms and conditions, has tampered with the operation of the Promotion, or has engaged in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Adobe, the Promotion, or any other entrant.

Opening/Closing Date & Time
The Promotion opens at 00:01 GMT on 16th September 2024 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 24th November 2024 (the “Promotion Period”).

There will be weekly prizes for individuals and 1 overall prize-winning university for the headline final event venue to be in or nearby their university location and for eligible ticket winners to be selected.  Additional prizes during will be updated in the terms and conditions by 30th September 2024.

Week 2 Prize  

5 pairs of tickets (10 total) to be rewarded to 5 students to see Childish Gambino performing on Saturday 30th November at the O2 Arena (Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX). The timings of the concert will be shared with the prize winners on being contacted regarding the prize. The tickets are for the Adobe Corporate hospitality box at the O2 Arena. Travel will be provided as part of the prize up to the value of £150 per person. The student is to keep a receipt of their travel for the event and Seed will reimburse the prize winners and their selected guest for the cost of travel (up to the value of £150 per person). This does not include accommodation. The winner(s) must be available for the concert dates stated above in order to redeem the prize. If they are not available they will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the shortlist.  

The Winner of the first prize must provide any additional spending money for the concert outside of what is stated to be included.  

Week 2 Prize has an approximate value of £560 p/person [incl VAT] and may not be sold, transferred or substituted, except that Adobe and/or the Seed may, at their discretion, substitute any Prize allocated with a prize of equal or greater value. Any unclaimed Prize remains the property of Adobe. Adobe and the Seed are not responsible for any Prizes that are lost in transit.  

All winning participants warrant to hold Adobe and Seed harmless against any claim, damage, shortfall in service or litigation related to the winning participants’ use or enjoyment of the prize.

Week 3 & 4 Prize 

1 corporate Adobe brand experience day to be rewarded for 10 students only. This will be held at Adobe’s London office in Old Street (White Collar Factory, 1 Old Street Yard, London, EC1Y 8AF). The date for the experience day is to be confirmed. This experience day will be 1 day only. The timings of the experience day will be shared with the prize winners on being contacted regarding the prize. Travel and accommodation will be provided as part of the prize up to the value of £350 per person. The student is to keep a receipt of their travel for the event and Seed will reimburse the prize winners for the cost of travel (up to the value of £350 per person). One meal will be provided by Adobe whilst on the experience day. The winner(s) must be available for the experience day once stated and in order to redeem the prize. If they are not available they will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the shortlist.  

The Winner of the first prize must provide any additional spending money for the experience day outside of what is stated to be included.  

Weekly Prize 3 (no appreciable resale value) may not be sold, transferred or substituted, except that Adobe and/or the Seed may, at their discretion, substitute any Prize allocated with a prize of equal or greater value. Any unclaimed Prize remains the property of Adobe. Adobe and the Seed are not responsible for any Prizes that are lost in transit.

Week 5 & 6 Prize 

5 pairs of tickets (10 total) to be rewarded to 5 students to see England vs USA Women’s Football match on Saturday 30th November at Wembley Stadium (Wembley HA9 0WS). The timings of the match will be shared with the prize winners on being contacted regarding the prize. The tickets are for the Adobe Corporate hospitality box at Wembley Stadium. Travel will be provided as part of the prize up to the value of £150 per person. The student is to keep a receipt of their travel for the event and Seed will reimburse the prize winners and their selected guest for the cost of travel (up to the value of £150 per person). This does not include accommodation. The winner(s) must be available for the match date(s) stated above in order to redeem the prize. Weekly prize winner Selection
Weekly prizes will be awarded in accordance with the weekly prize timelines stated in this document and to 5 pairs of students for each (20 total).  

Weekly prizes will be selected at random from the full Creative Campus Higher Education Institutions.  

Competition Winners’ Process

Students who have downloaded the Adobe Express app on their mobile using their university ac.uk email account and have enabled in app push notifications will receive an in app notification informing them that they are able to claim the overall prize. The first student(s) to claim the prize will be rewarded with the prize. Prizes are rewarded on a first come first served basis. For the overall prize; up to 3,0000 students will be able to claim the overall prize and will be rewarded with a ticket to the concert. The students who claim the overall prize will have their details shared with Seed in order to contact them with information about the concert.

Students who have invited alist@adobe.com to one or more of their designs and followed the stated competition participation steps ahead of the weekly prize competition close date(s) will also be eligible to win the weekly prize(s). Students who enter from all participating Creative Campus institutions will be contacted for a chance to redeem the weekly prize(s). The first student(s) to claim the weekly prize(s) will be rewarded with the prize(s). Weekly prize winners will be selected at random from those who have invited alist@adobe.com within the weekly prize competition timelines. Prizes are not limited to one per person, per university.

The student who claims the prize will have their details shared with Seed, in strict compliance with all GDPR prevailing legislation, in order to contact them to claim their prize.  

Winners of the Prizes will be notified via email no later than 5 days after the end of the Promotion Period. Prize winners will have 72 hours following contact from the Seed to claim their Prize. Failure to claim their Prize within 72 hours may result in the Prize winner forfeiting the Prize entirely. Seed will follow up with the prize winner and share more information regarding the prize details.  

In the event of any dispute, the decision of Adobe, at their sole discretion, will be binding and incontestable.  

By participating in Promotion, Participants consent to giving their details to Seed for the purposes of contacting them in the event that they are winners and for the purposes of issuing the Prize.
By accepting a Prize, Participants will be offered a Statement of Use in compliance with GDPR to the use of their names, counties of residence, likeness or Prize information for promotional and other reasonable purposes by the Client and Seed without further payment, except where prohibited by law. Winners may elect to  participate in Adobe’s reasonable marketing and promotional activities. This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non winners will not be notified.  

Overall Winning Prize  
The overall winning prize will be subject to the universities meeting an initial results criteria that is established by Adobes results and measurement and is at their sole discretion. Once the criteria deemed appropriate by Adobe is met, the overall prize will be unlocked for the universities to be able to win at the end of the campaign. The date for the overall prize to be unlocked will depend on when and if the universities meet the required result criteria.  

The university at the top of the results table at the end of the competition and as established by Adobe’s results and measurement at their sole discretion on close of the competition will receive a concert for up to 3,000 students in early 2025. Date to be announced on confirmation of the winning university. The Artist(s) to also be announced before the end of the competition and updated on the official competition website (www.adobealist.com).

Winners of the Prizes will be notified via email no later than 5 days after the end of the Promotion Period. Prize winners will have 72 hours following contact from the Seed to claim their Prize. Failure to claim their Prize within 72 hours may result in the Prize winner forfeiting the Prize entirely. Seed will follow up with the prize winner and share more information regarding the prize details.  

The student(s) who claims the prize will have their details shared with Seed, in strict compliance with all GDPR prevailing legislation, in order to contact them to claim their prize.

Winning students will need to cover their own transport and or required accommodation for the concert itself. Prize winner’s expenditure within the venue is not included as part of the prize.  

How to participate
To participate in the Promotion, each creative campus university student population must, within the Promotion Period complete one or all of the following actions:
  • Sign up to Adobe Express using their University ac.uk email address  
  • Download the Adobe Express mobile application  
  • Use the Adobe Express application (Create templates, use the app to edit photos)
  • Used a quick action or exported their projects created using Adobe Express. Including but not limited to:
  • Downloaded a design  
  • Presented a presentation  
  • Shared to social media  
  • scheduled a post  
  • Invited a collaborator


All students must, if they want a chance to win the weekly prizes, invite alist@adobe.com to one or all of their designs throughout the competition period in order to be in with a chance of winning either the weekly prizes.  
By doing one or all of the above, students will be contributing to their universities' position against the other participating creative campus universities but also to the unlock of the overall winning prize. Adobe will be monitoring the number of students from each university that are completing all of the above actions and recording these in a league table (shown on our official competition website (www.adobealist.com). The more actions that are completed by multiple students on campus from the same institution using their ac.uk associated Adobe Express accounts, the higher up they will be in the league table. Adobe will be measuring the results relative to the size of the participating university to ensure the league table is fair in accordance with the universities population.  

Results are monitored and recorded solely by Adobe and under their discretion.  

The league table will be updated at a minimum once a week on the official competition website (www.adobealist.com). The dates and days for the update may vary.  

Miscellaneous

  1. Seed Marketing: SEED MARKETING LIMITED, (Attention: Creative Campus A-List competition), C/O 27 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A4JU. Seed is the promoter of the Promotion.
  2. Privacy Notice: All information submitted in connection with this Promotion will be treated in accordance with these terms and conditions, in full compliance with all prevailing GDPR legislation and Seed’s Privacy Notice.
  3. Waiver of Liability: Seed will not be responsible or liable for: (i) any failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or other conditions beyond their reasonable control; (ii) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (iii) any disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond their reasonable control; or (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
  4. General Release: By participating in the Promotion you release Seed and its affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agencies, from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize, except as prohibited by law.
  5. Amendment: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seed reserves the right to change these rules or cancel the Promotion at any time, in its sole discretion.
  6. Copyright: The Promotion and all accompanying materials are copyright protected by  SEED MARKETING LIMITED and its affiliates. All rights reserved.
  7. Governing law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of the Promotion, or the rights and obligations of the Seed, the Client and the Participants, will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
